The 180 Project

The 180 Project is the banner we use to cover all of our work in the community. We are able to carry out various activities through volunteers from our congregations and a small team of part-time staff.

Our Vision

To inspire our congregations towards active involvement in our communities, reflecting the heart of God for and to those most in need by providing support to people who are vulnerable and facing injustice.

Our activities include:

  • Knit & Natter in Chafford Hundred (Tuesday mornings) and Chadwell St Mary (Wednesday mornings)

  • Piglets Baby & Toddler group in Chadwell St Mary (Thursday Mornings)

  • Free School Uniform Events (monthly, see facebook page for details)

  • Budgeting Courses (ad-hoc)

  • Schools-based wellbeing groups and 1:1 support

  • Support for families facing challenges (including referrals to food and clothing charities)

  • Drop-ins for refugees and people seeking asylum

  • Welcome visits for newly arrived people seeking asylum in Thurrock
