Planning Your First Visit?

We’re so glad you’re thinking of joining us. Whether you’re exploring faith or looking for a church to call home, you are very welcome here.

Here’s what you can expect when you come along:

What happens in our Sunday services:

  • Contemporary worship

  • Bible-based teaching that applies to everyday life

  • Prayer and ministry time

  • Refreshments and conversation afterwards

Our meetings usually last around 90 minutes, with time to connect over tea and coffee at the end.

Bringing children?

We love having children in our services. They are not a distraction. They are part of the family.

At Basildon, we do not currently run separate children’s or youth groups. Instead, we all worship and learn together in the same space. It is a smaller, more intimate setting, and we find that children bring so much life and joy to our gatherings.

We often have activity sheets or quiet resources available during the message. Children are free to move around as needed. Please do not worry if they make a bit of noise. We are used to it and we are glad they are here.

If you have any questions or need help on the day, our welcome team will be happy to assist you.

When you arrive:

Look out for our welcome team at the door. They’ll be ready to greet you, answer any questions, and help you feel at home.

Whether you’re coming on your own or with others, you won’t be left standing on your own. We’d love to get to know you.
