Our Vision
Our vision for the Children’s Ministry is to see all our children stay rooted and connected to God through his word and prayer, to grow in faith and in the knowledge of God and love for one another. We will also encourage the children to freely share Jesus with their families, friends and neighbours.
What happens at CCKids
Every Sunday we have groups that cater from toddlers all the way up to Year 5 in primary school. In their groups the children learn about the Bible in a fun creative environment through games, stories and songs. All groups meet in separate rooms.
The Lighthouse group (a group for children with additional needs) currently only runs at our Chafford Hundred location
How do I bring my child along?
At our Chafford location, all children need to be registered each Sunday before they can go to their groups. They will be issued with a wristband which must be worn until the end of kid’s work. Our registration system is available from 10:00 and closes strictly at 10:20 so that you have time to register your children and get settled before the service starts at 10:30.
As our other locations are smaller the kids' work will run a little differently. You will be able to find out how when you turn up.

The only qualification needed to be part of the Kid’s team is that you have accepted Jesus. All training will be given. You will be required to go through our safe recruitment process but this is all organised by Community Church. Whether you feel able to lead a group or just want to be an extra pair of hands you will be welcomed on the team and guided through the whole process and you can choose which age group you would prefer to work with.
