Growing in God

We will journey from Genesis to Revelation to explore the seven temples mentioned in the Bible.
This overview will provide insight into our place within the biblical narrative
as disciples of Jesus in the 21st century.

This course will take you step by step through the book of Revelation.

The Book of Revelation is often regarded as a unique addition to the canon of scripture, standing apart from other texts by unveiling the secrets of God’s intentions leading up to Jesus’ return. Despite its puzzling nature and propensity for sparking varying interpretations that can cause division within the church, Revelation’s climatic theme harmonizes with the broader message found throughout the entirety of scripture.

Over the course of these 9 sessions, our aim is to unravel this incredible book and try to comprehend God’s sovereignty across history, culminating in the complete and ultimate triumph of Christ Jesus.

There are those that are being led astray by false teaching and doctrine. The best way to spot false doctrine is to study true doctrine. This course will cover the main doctrines of our faith.

5 – The doctrine of man
6 – The doctrine of salvation
7 – The doctrine of baptism in water
8 – The doctrine of baptism in the Holy Spirit

10 – The doctrine of the Word of God

The purpose of this course is to examine and reflect on the practice of public Christian preaching, to increase understanding of the nature of preaching and to begin to develop appropriate approaches and skills for this task.
By the end of this course you should be able to:

• Distinguish the critical elements in effective communication

• Explain the nature and purpose of preaching and it relevance in today’s world

• Understand different preaching models

• Plan, prepare and deliver a sermon effectively

This course is for anyone who is interested in preaching or teaching. You may feel that God has given you a gift of preaching the Word which needs to be developed, or you just want to understand preaching better so that when you listen to sermons you are better equipped to appreciate the preacher and the text. This course is also suitable if you feel that you may not preach publicly, but are interested in leading Bible Studies in small groups.

The call upon each of is to make disciples, but has anyone ever taught you how?
This course takes you all the way through from how to connect with people to planting healthy churches. We will spend time in prayer, teaching from the Word, and time encouraging each other to put into practice what we are learning. There will also be opportunity to join a team to go into the harvest (for those in the UK)
