jesus – the man from god

25th August 2013 | Leon Ringlemann

Today’s story is a story of contrasts and we hear of the miracle of the healing the man blind from birth as it is written in the Gospel of John. Jesus stated that the man’s blindness was not because either he (the man) or his parents had sinned. Jesus then mixed his spittle with some dirt to make a mud mixture, which he placed in the man’s eyes. Jesus then asked the man to wash his eyes in the Pool of Siloam. When this was done, the man was able to see. The man exclaimed ” I was blind and now I can see”…The man had showed simple faith. We are encouraged by Leon that when we talk to people about God, we are to speak simply in order that they can understand us and that they can see that Jesus was sent to earth to display the works of God.
