Big Church Day Out
Community Church is going to Big Church Day Out South this year and we’d love you to come with us.
The deadline to purchase tickets is 13th May 2017 (the event is on 27th-28th May 2017).
We will be arranging a group booking in order to get a discount. You will need to book your own ticket via an invitation to our group booking.
Please email: bcdo@mycommunitychurch.
This year we will be teaming with the other Churches in the Relational Mission South Essex Cluster in order to build our friendships with those Churches. We are happy we can be joined together for this event.
You can see more information about the event here:
Sat 27th to Sun 28th May 2017
You can either visit for one day or the whole weekend (best value for money)
(Tickets must be orders by 13th May 2017)
BCDO is the largest music focused Christian event in Europe with 25,000 people attending. Some of the artists performing are:
Tim Hughes & Worship Central
The Abrams Bothers
Jonathan & Melissa Helser
And many more!
Other things to do
Apart from the many artists performing, there are many activities, special events for Children, rides, book/music shops, various charities exhibiting:
You can buy food at the multitude of suppliers – or you can bring your own picnic! You can even bring your own deck-chairs to use throughout the event, whether watching the artists, or eating your lunch.
Winston House, Steyning, West Sussex, BN44 3DZ
It is just over 1 hour drive from Thurrock, so quick and easy for a drive home on Saturday and drive back on Sunday if you don’t want to camp or stay in a hotel.
For more information about staying overnight, see here: https://bigchurchdayout.
You will need to make your own way there, but if you either need transport, or you will have space in your car, please take a look at this website and either try to “Find a lift” or “Offer a lift”:
Better yet, find some friends at Church who can hop in your car/you can jump in their car!
p.s. Parking is Free – but get there early to avoid the queues:
The event is for all ages.
There are also many non-Christian’s who attend and are amazed at the diversity of Christian music. Please invite your family and friends, just remember to get them to email email@example.com
It is a great event to relax, worship, sing, spend time with God and friends and to be refreshed. There is nothing quite like praising and worshipping God with 25,000 other people!
The pricing works on discounts for larger groups, so the more people go, the cheaper it gets (this is the total number of people in the group, not the number of tickets you need to purchase). The following prices are for the weekend entry ticket only (i.e. not including camping, etc.):

Group size 21-30: £33
Group size 31-49: £31

The deadline to purchase tickets is 13th May 2017 (but please do not leave it until the last minute as you may be disappointed). You must email firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you have received the email invite, you must click on that specific link to book your tickets online – it is important that you do this before midnight of 13th May. If you miss the deadline, it is not possible to take advantage of the group booking.
You will receive an e-ticket by 15th May 2017 that you will need to print and bring with you to BCDO (this will go to the email address who registered for the tickets). They will scan this code at the gate and provide you with your wristbands.
